RSNO: Raising Voices (2024)

The RSNO commissioned me to arrange nine songs for ensemble and voices, three each for three community choirs around Glasgow, comprising displaced people, as part of the Scottish Refugee Festival, 2024. The Joyous Choir is a women’s voice group based in Maryhill, the Solo Way choir is made up of Ukrainian women, and the Harper African Voice Choir is based in the Harper church in Govan. The event, a performed at the RSNO Centre in Glasgow, was a great success, and well attended.
